In value terms, polyamide imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed slight growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 90%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of polyamide to Belgium, with a 47% share of total imports.
