Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, imports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings amounted to $X in 2022. In general, imports enjoyed a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 59%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, China (X square meters) constituted the largest supplier of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings to Belgium, with a 56% share of total imports. Moreover, imports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Luxembourg (X square meters), threefold.
