In value terms, silver ore imports dropped sharply to $X in 2019. In general, imports showed a pronounced setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 374%. Imports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2019, imports remained at a lower figure.

Australia (X tons), Argentina (X tons) and Peru (X tons) were the main suppliers of silver ore imports to Belgium, with a combined 74% share of total imports. The Netherlands, Portugal, Bolivia, Brazil, Luxembourg and Finland lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 23%.
