The volume of export peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, disc harrow exports surged to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, recorded a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 53%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Moreover, Luxembourg emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Benelux, with a CAGR of +32.6% from 2012-2021. Belgium (+8.6 p.p.) and Luxembourg (+2.4 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while the Netherlands saw its share reduced by -11% from 2012 to 2021, respectively.

Luxembourg, with a CAGR of +28.6%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

In 2021, the export price in Benelux amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -14.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the export price increased by 27% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, disc harrow imports in Benelux surged to X units, rising by 15% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports showed strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 263% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, disc harrow imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports enjoyed perceptible growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 136% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
