Belgium prevails in exports structure, reaching X tons, which was approx. 95% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by the Netherlands (X tons), committing a 4.6% share of total exports.

Belgium was also the fastest-growing in terms of the flax fiber exports, with a CAGR of +9.8% from 2012 to 2022. The Netherlands (-1.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Belgium increased by +8.3 percentage points.
