The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 35%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. Belgium dominates exports structure, finishing at X tons, which was near 97% of total exports in 2021. The Netherlands (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine exports from Belgium stood at +9.7%. At the same time, the Netherlands (+28.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Netherlands emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Benelux, with a CAGR of +28.4% from 2012-2021.
