The Netherlands dominates exports structure, finishing at X tons, which was near 90% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Belgium (X tons), constituting an 8.3% share of total exports. Luxembourg (X tons) took a little share of total exports.

The Netherlands was also the fastest-growing in terms of the furnace burners for liquid fuel exports, with a CAGR of +10.0% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Belgium (+8.4%) and Luxembourg (+2.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. While the share of the Netherlands (+2.4 p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In 2021, the amount of furnace burners for liquid fuel imported in Benelux skyrocketed to X tons, picking up by 119% compared with 2020. Over the period under review, imports posted a remarkable increase. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, liquid fuel furnace burner imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Total imports indicated a mild increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +1.6% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The level of import peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
