It was distantly followed by Belgium (X units), creating a 31% share of total exports. Luxembourg (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Exports from the Netherlands increased at an average annual rate of +11.0% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Luxembourg (+57.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Luxembourg emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Benelux, with a CAGR of +57.9% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Belgium (-10.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of the Netherlands (+47 p.p.) and Luxembourg (+1.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Belgium (-49.4 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) remains the largest snow motor vehicle supplier in Benelux, comprising 80% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Belgium ($X), with a 17% share of total exports.

In the Netherlands, snow motor vehicle exports increased at an average annual rate of +14.7% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Belgium (-12.8% per year) and Luxembourg (+39.2% per year).

In value terms, snow motor vehicle imports declined rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a slight setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 140%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, the Netherlands (X units) was the key importer of motor vehicles for travelling on snow or golf cars, constituting 72% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Belgium (X units), creating a 26% share of total imports. Luxembourg (X units) held a minor share of total imports.
