In 2022, the Benelux rape and colza seed market increased by 14% to $X, rising for the second year in a row after four years of decline. Overall, consumption, however, showed a perceptible reduction. In 2022, rape and colza seed exports in Benelux reduced remarkably to X tons, which is down by -50.5% compared with 2021 figures. Over the period under review, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 164%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, rape and colza seed exports dropped remarkably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw pronounced growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 176%.
