In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) remains the key foreign market for unroasted decaffeinated coffee exports from Brazil, comprising 98% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uruguay ($X), with a 1.8% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to the United Arab Emirates totaled -10.3%.

In 2021, the average unroasted decaffeinated coffee export price amounted to $X per ton, with a decrease of -30.4% against the previous year. In 2021, imports of unroasted decaffeinated coffee into Brazil rose rapidly to X tons, growing by 12% compared with the year before. Overall, imports posted a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 4,319%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, unroasted decaffeinated coffee imports shrank rapidly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 2,775% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then declined sharply in the following year.
