In 2022, purchases abroad of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses decreased by -29.3% to X tons, falling for the third year in a row after three years of growth. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a noticeable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by 241%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, imports of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses fell significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a modest expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 360% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses to Brazil, with a 48% share of total imports.
