The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +1.6% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 35% against the previous year. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 118% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, assembled parquet panels imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports saw buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 219%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, China (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of assembled parquet panels to Brazil, accounting for a 56% share of total imports. Moreover, assembled parquet panels imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X tons), threefold.
