In 2021, the Brazilian liquid dispensing pump market was finally on the rise to reach $X after two years of decline. In general, consumption, however, saw a slight shrinkage. Liquid dispensing pump consumption peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, consumption failed to regain momentum.

Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, liquid dispensing pump exports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by 115% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Paraguay (X units) was the main destination for liquid dispensing pump exports from Brazil, with a 50% share of total exports. In value terms, liquid dispensing pump imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports showed a modest expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 171% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Argentina (X units), the United States (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of liquid dispensing pump imports to Brazil, together comprising 66% of total imports.
