In value terms, the United States ($X), Chile ($X) and Argentina ($X) constituted the largest markets for static converter exported from Brazil worldwide, with a combined 33% share of total exports. These countries were followed by South Africa, Saint Lucia, Colombia, China, Mexico, Paraguay, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Hong Kong SAR and South Korea, which together accounted for a further 31%.
Among the main countries of destination, Egypt, with a CAGR of +185.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average static converter export price amounted to $X per unit, waning by -13% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 92% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of static converters to Brazil, comprising 75% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Japan ($X), with a 3.3% share of total imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 2.9% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from China amounted to +11.3%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Japan (+12.7% per year) and Germany (-4.0% per year).
Import Prices by Country
The average static converter import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, growing by 3.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 34% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
