Greece (X tons), Germany (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main destinations of canned vegetable exports from Bulgaria, together comprising 70% of total exports. Italy, Romania, Sweden and Russia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 16%.

Turkey (X tons), Greece (X tons) and Italy (X tons) were the main suppliers of canned vegetable imports to Bulgaria, with a combined 53% share of total imports. Romania, Hungary, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 41%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Portugal (with a CAGR of +99.9%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
