The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 72% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, clasp knife imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports posted resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 78% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of clasp knife to Bulgaria, accounting for a 45% share of total imports.
