Romania (X units), Greece (X units) and Ukraine (X units) were the main destinations of non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from Bulgaria, with a combined 56% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Ukraine (with a CAGR of +2,286.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 83%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers imports declined to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated slight growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -30.4% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 71% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of non-enclosed loudspeakers to Bulgaria, with a 52% share of total imports. Moreover, non-enclosed loudspeakers imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X units), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X units), with a 9.6% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from China amounted to +22.2%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (+11.7% per year) and Germany (+9.0% per year).
In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of loudspeakers (not in enclosure) to Bulgaria, comprising 32% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Czech Republic ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by Italy, with a 12% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from China stood at +21.4%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the Czech Republic (+52.7% per year) and Italy (+5.2% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the average non-enclosed loudspeakers import price amounted to $X per unit, waning by -10.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 20% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
