In value terms, cement pipe exports contracted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 387% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 305% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, cement pipe imports rose rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 201%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Serbia (X tons) constituted the largest cement pipe supplier to Bulgaria, with a 68% share of total imports.
