For the fourth year in a row, Bulgaria recorded decline in supplies from abroad of winches and capstans, which decreased by -1.5% to X units in 2021. In general, imports recorded a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 284%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, winche and capstan imports declined slightly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, posted a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 133% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
