Central African Republic (X tons) was the main destination for butter and ghee exports from Cameroon, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, butter and ghee exports to Central African Republic exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Congo (X kg), fourfold.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume to Central African Republic stood at X%.

In value terms, the largest markets for butter and ghee exported from Cameroon were Central African Republic ($X) and Congo ($X).

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Central African Republic (X%).

Imports into Cameroon

Butter and ghee imports into Cameroon shrank rapidly to X tons in 2022, which is down by X% against the year before. Overall, imports saw a pronounced contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, butter and ghee imports rose significantly to $X in 2022. Moreover, butter and ghee imports from France exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Belgium (X tons), fivefold.
