Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports shrank modestly to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a perceptible expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 110% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then dropped slightly in the following year.

In 2022, France (X kg) constituted the largest citrus fruits not elsewhere classified supplier to Cameroon, with a 67% share of total imports. Moreover, citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports from France exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, South Africa (X kg), twofold. From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from France stood at +6.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Belgium (+16.0% per year) and Spain (-5.6% per year).

In general, the import price, however, posted a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 44% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2021, and then declined modestly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($X per ton), while the price for South Africa ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+30.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
