The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 4,932% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2020, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

In value terms, particle accelerator imports fell rapidly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports faced a deep slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 479%. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
