In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) remains the largest non-electric air heater supplier in Central Asia, comprising 98% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kyrgyzstan ($X), with a 1.8% share of total exports.

In 2022, overseas purchases of non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors increased by 11% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, imports showed notable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 106% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, non-electric air heater imports rose significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw pronounced growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 42% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Kazakhstan dominates imports structure, accounting for X units, which was near 79% of total imports in 2022. Kyrgyzstan (X units) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Uzbekistan (X units) and Mongolia (X units). All these countries together took near 18% share of total imports. Tajikistan (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to non-electric air heater imports into Kazakhstan stood at +6.9%. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors in Central Asia, comprising 81% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kyrgyzstan ($X), with a 7.1% share of total imports. It was followed by Uzbekistan, with a 6.9% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Kazakhstan amounted to +4.9%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Kyrgyzstan (+0.2% per year) and Uzbekistan (-0.3% per year).
