The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 82%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, Kazakhstan (X tons) was the major importer of aluminium doors, thresholds for doors and windows, mixing up 48% of total imports. Uzbekistan (X tons) took a 27% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Mongolia (12%) and Kyrgyzstan (5.1%). The following importers - Turkmenistan (X tons) and Tajikistan (X tons) - each recorded an 8.2% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by Kazakhstan (with a CAGR of +15.0%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported aluminium doors, thresholds for doors and windows in Central Asia, comprising 61% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 21% share of total imports. It was followed by Mongolia, with an 8.4% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Kazakhstan amounted to +12.6%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Uzbekistan (+19.2% per year) and Mongolia (-4.1% per year).

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Turkmenistan ($X per ton), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
