In 2022, green bean exports in Central Asia declined dramatically to X tons, which is down by -39.7% against the previous year's figure. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 6,836%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons, and then dropped significantly in the following year.

In value terms, green bean exports dropped notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed prominent growth. Imports into Kazakhstan decreased at an average annual rate of -4.5% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Kyrgyzstan (+55.0%) and Tajikistan (+22.2%) displayed positive paces of growth.
