Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +19,900.0% from 2012-2022. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Uzbekistan increased by +28 percentage points.
In value terms, Kyrgyzstan ($X) remains the largest beeswax supplier in Central Asia, comprising 96% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 1.2% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Kyrgyzstan totaled -11.2%.

The export price in Central Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, which is down by -21.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the export price increased by 514% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. Imports in Central Asia
In 2022, the amount of beeswax imported in Central Asia shrank markedly to X tons, with a decrease of -73.6% on the previous year's figure. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 2,019%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, beeswax imports fell dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 3,358%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
Uzbekistan dominates imports structure, recording X tons, which was near 98% of total imports in 2022. Kazakhstan (X kg) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to beeswax imports into Uzbekistan stood at -6.9%. At the same time, Kazakhstan (+18.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Kazakhstan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +18.5% from 2012-2022. While the share of Uzbekistan (+98 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2022, the share of Kazakhstan (-31.7 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
In value terms, Uzbekistan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported beeswax in Central Asia, comprising 92% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Kazakhstan ($X), with a 6.8% share of total imports.
