In value terms, the largest receivers and transmitters case supplying countries in Central Asia were Kyrgyzstan ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Uzbekistan ($X), together comprising 89% of total exports.

Kyrgyzstan, with a CAGR of +60.4%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Central Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, shrinking by -25.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate noticeable growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when the export price increased by 61%. In 2021, the import price in Central Asia amounted to $X per unit, which is down by -8.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when the import price increased by 42%. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2020, and then dropped in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($X per unit), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
