Imports in Central Asia
In 2022, imports of central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam in Central Asia fell to X units, shrinking by -7.7% on the year before. Total imports indicated prominent growth from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.1% over the last decade. Kazakhstan was the major importing country with an import of around X units, which reached 60% of total imports. Uzbekistan (X units) held a 23% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Turkmenistan (7.3%). Mongolia (X units), Kyrgyzstan (X units) and Tajikistan (X units) held a minor share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam imports into Kazakhstan stood at +3.3%. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+26.4%), Kyrgyzstan (+16.2%), Tajikistan (+13.8%) and Mongolia (+5.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, the largest central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam importing markets in Central Asia were Kazakhstan ($X), Uzbekistan ($X) and Turkmenistan ($X), together comprising 92% of total imports.
Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +32.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the import price in Central Asia amounted to $X per unit, rising by 4.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern.
