Moreover, Mongolia emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +29.5% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Turkmenistan (-8.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Mongolia (+5.1 p.p.) and Uzbekistan (+4.9 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Turkmenistan saw its share reduced by -7.9% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported electric burglar or fire alarms and similar apparatus in Central Asia, comprising 62% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 25% share of total imports. It was followed by Turkmenistan, with a 4.5% share.
