Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2019 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

From 2014 to 2019, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Industrial robot imports surged to X units in 2021, with an increase of 39% on 2020. In general, imports showed a prominent expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 147% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, industrial robot imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports enjoyed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when imports increased by 236%. The level of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

Uzbekistan (X units) and Kazakhstan (X units) prevails in imports structure, together making up 87% of total imports. Tajikistan (X units) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Kyrgyzstan (X units). All these countries together held near 12% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of +61.1%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +49.4%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in Central Asia amounted to $X per unit, approximately reflecting the previous year. Import price indicated a notable expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.9% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, industrial robot import price decreased by -17.8% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 93% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per unit), while Tajikistan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
