The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, exports of internal combustion engines, excluding diesel (other than for motor vehicles and aircraft) declined markedly to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, enjoyed a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by 1,315% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the exports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, imports of internal combustion engines, excluding diesel (other than for motor vehicles and aircraft) in Central Asia soared to X tons, rising by 1,383% compared with the year before. In general, imports enjoyed a significant increase. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
