Kyrgyzstan (+5.4 p.p.) and Uzbekistan (+2.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Kazakhstan saw its share reduced by -9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) remains the largest solid-liquid separator supplier in Central Asia, comprising 69% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kyrgyzstan ($X), with a 23% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Kazakhstan totaled -6.7%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Kyrgyzstan (+17.2% per year) and Uzbekistan (+540.5% per year).

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kyrgyzstan ($X per thousand units), while Kazakhstan ($X per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.

While the share of Uzbekistan (+21 p.p.), Mongolia (+7.2 p.p.), Kyrgyzstan (+2.8 p.p.) and Tajikistan (+2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2022, the share of Turkmenistan (-8.2 p.p.) and Kazakhstan (-24.8 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 15% share of total imports. It was followed by Turkmenistan, with a 9.6% share.

In Kazakhstan, solid-liquid separator imports contracted by an average annual rate of -3.4% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Uzbekistan (+4.3% per year) and Turkmenistan (-11.3% per year).
