Mongolia (+15 p.p.), Turkmenistan (+12 p.p.) and Tajikistan (+4.8 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan saw its share reduced by -2% and -30.3% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest mobile lifting frame importing markets in Central Asia were Mongolia ($X), Turkmenistan ($X) and Kazakhstan ($X), together comprising 87% of total imports. These countries were followed by Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which together accounted for a further 13%.

Among the main importing countries, Tajikistan, with a CAGR of +19.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in Central Asia amounted to $X per unit, increasing by 45% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a slight setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the import price increased by 94% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2021, the import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit), while Kazakhstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
