Imports in Central Asia
In 2022, imports of non-electric bakery ovens in Central Asia soared to X units, picking up by 21% on the year before. In general, imports, however, recorded a precipitous decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 201%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-electric bakery oven imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a deep reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 318%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The countries with the highest levels of non-electric bakery oven imports in 2022 were Uzbekistan (X units), Kazakhstan (X units) and Kyrgyzstan (X units), together recording 82% of total import. Mongolia (X units) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 9.3% share, followed by Turkmenistan (8.5%).
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of +9.3%), while imports for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
In value terms, the largest non-electric bakery oven importing markets in Central Asia were Uzbekistan ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Turkmenistan ($X), together comprising 97% of total imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +8.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline in the imports figures.
