Imports into Kazakhstan decreased at an average annual rate of -10.4% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+59.8%) and Kyrgyzstan (+11.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +59.8% from 2012-2021. Uzbekistan (+23 p.p.) and Kyrgyzstan (+4.2 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Kazakhstan saw its share reduced by -7.4% from 2012 to 2021, respectively.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported other aromatic monoamines and their derivatives, salts thereof in Central Asia, comprising 74% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 13% share of total imports.
