All these countries together held approx. 25% share of total imports. Tajikistan (X units) took a relatively small share of total imports.

Imports into Kazakhstan increased at an average annual rate of +2.3% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+32.3%), Turkmenistan (+23.4%), Mongolia (+8.5%), Kyrgyzstan (+6.6%) and Tajikistan (+1.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +32.3% from 2012-2022. Uzbekistan (+9.4 p.p.), Turkmenistan (+3.8 p.p.) and Mongolia (+1.6 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Kazakhstan saw its share reduced by -14.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported personal weighing machines in Central Asia, comprising 72% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Turkmenistan ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by Uzbekistan, with a 6.9% share.

In Kazakhstan, personal weighing machine imports increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Turkmenistan (+21.3% per year) and Uzbekistan (+31.8% per year).
