The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +92.4% against 2017 indices. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Kazakhstan (X units) was the major importer of plastic lavatory seats and covers, achieving 43% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Turkmenistan (X units), Uzbekistan (X units) and Mongolia (X units), together committing a 50% share of total imports. Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per unit), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
