Exports in Central Asia

Exports of process control, gate, globe and other valves contracted to X tons in 2022, waning by -8.5% compared with the year before. Over the period under review, exports saw a dramatic contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 155% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, exports of process control, gate, globe and other valves shrank to $X in 2022. In general, exports faced a sharp shrinkage. Imports of process control, gate, globe and other valves rose modestly to X tons in 2022, picking up by 3.4% compared with 2021.
