In 2022, the Central Asian radiator market decreased by -5.8% to $X for the first time since 2016, thus ending a five-year rising trend. In general, consumption continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the market attained the maximum level at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

In general, exports posted a strong expansion. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, radiator exports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded strong growth. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
Uzbekistan represented the key exporting country with an export of about X tons, which amounted to 77% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X tons), comprising a 20% share of total exports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to radiator exports from Uzbekistan stood at +52.5%. At the same time, Kyrgyzstan (+104.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Kyrgyzstan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of +104.7% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Kazakhstan (-3.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, Uzbekistan ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Kyrgyzstan ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together comprising 100% of total exports.
Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +98.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Central Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, which is down by -23% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the export price increased by 103%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton, and then declined markedly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per ton), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Uzbekistan (+30.3%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

Imports in Central Asia
In 2022, approx. X tons of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated) were imported in Central Asia; falling by -11.1% compared with the year before. Overall, imports saw a perceptible slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 42%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, radiator imports fell to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a mild setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 51%. Uzbekistan (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons) and Mongolia (X tons) represented roughly 94% of total imports in 2022. The following importers - Turkmenistan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) - each accounted for a 5.6% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of +21.2%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
In value terms, the largest radiator importing markets in Central Asia were Uzbekistan ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Mongolia ($X), together comprising 93% of total imports.
Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +33.6%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in Central Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, picking up by 3.1% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 34% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.
