Road tractor for semi-trailer exports skyrocketed to X units in 2021, growing by 59% on the previous year's figure. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when exports increased by 91% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In Uzbekistan, road tractor for semi-trailer exports increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Kazakhstan (-20.6% per year) and Mongolia (+2.1% per year).

Uzbekistan (+20 p.p.), Kazakhstan (+12 p.p.) and Tajikistan (+4.2 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan saw its share reduced by -11.2% and -25.2% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($X per unit), while Tajikistan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
