Uzbekistan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the semiconductor thyristors, diacs and triacs exports, with a CAGR of +418.3% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Mongolia (+13.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. By contrast, Kyrgyzstan (-12.4%) and Kazakhstan (-18.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In Uzbekistan, semiconductor thyristor exports expanded at an average annual rate of +449.0% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Mongolia (+21.2% per year) and Kazakhstan (-9.3% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Central Asia stood at $X per unit in 2022, growing by 14% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the export price increased by 135%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per unit), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kazakhstan (+11.2%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
