Slate Market Size in Central Asia

It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X tons), committing a 12% share of total imports. The following importers - Turkmenistan (X kg) and Mongolia (X kg) - together made up 5.8% of total imports.

Kyrgyzstan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the slate imports, with a CAGR of +27.0% from 2012 to 2021. In Kyrgyzstan, slate imports expanded at an average annual rate of +18.6% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Kazakhstan (-33.7% per year) and Turkmenistan (+4.1% per year).
