Kazakhstan was the major importer of vices and clamps in Central Asia, with the volume of imports accounting for X tons, which was near 77% of total imports in 2022. Uzbekistan (X tons) took a 13% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Kyrgyzstan (5.3%). The following importers - Tajikistan (X tons) and Mongolia (X tons) - each finished at a 3.6% share of total imports.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported vices and clamps in Central Asia, comprising 80% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by Kyrgyzstan, with a 3.5% share.

In Kazakhstan, vices and clamps imports increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Uzbekistan (+34.7% per year) and Kyrgyzstan (+13.3% per year).
