Kazakhstan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) dominates imports structure, together creating 81% of total imports. Uzbekistan (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 9.5% share, followed by Tajikistan (5.4%). Mongolia (X tons) took a little share of total imports.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 24%. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($X per ton), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
