In general, imports, however, saw a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 88%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then declined dramatically in the following year.
In value terms, coconut oil imports reduced markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 106%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

Indonesia (X tons), India (X tons) and Sri Lanka (X tons) were the main suppliers of coconut oil imports to Chile, together comprising 68% of total imports.
