In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports shrank modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 82%. The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Venezuela (X litres), Peru (X litres) and Colombia (X litres) were the main destinations of non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports from Chile, together accounting for 52% of total exports. Paraguay, the United States, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Bolivia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the Dominican Republic (with a CAGR of +101.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Peru ($X), the United States ($X) and Venezuela ($X) constituted the largest markets for non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exported from Chile worldwide, together comprising 43% of total exports. Colombia, Paraguay, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Bolivia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 22%.

Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 46%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X litres, and then dropped remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk imports contracted significantly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a resilient expansion. Poland (X litres), Mexico (X litres) and Germany (X litres) were the main suppliers of non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk imports to Chile, together accounting for 63% of total imports. China, South Korea, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Spain, Colombia, the United States and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Uruguay (with a CAGR of +251.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Mexico ($X), Poland ($X) and Germany ($X) were the largest non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk suppliers to Chile, together accounting for 60% of total imports. China, Brazil, South Korea, the United States, Argentina, Italy, Colombia, Uruguay, Spain and Peru lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 32%.
Uruguay, with a CAGR of +223.7%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the average import price for non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk amounted to $X per litre, shrinking by -14% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 33%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per litre. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per litre), while the price for Peru ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.
