The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 82%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, playing cards imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 125% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In 2022, the United States (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of playing cards to Chile, with a 67% share of total imports. Moreover, playing cards imports from the United States exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X tons), threefold.
