The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 89%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.
In value terms, saccharin imports fell notably to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a mild slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 111% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
