The Chilean hand stamp market reduced modestly to $X in 2022, stabilizing at the previous year. In 2022, the amount of stamps for use in the hand imported into Chile reduced to X units, waning by -6.6% against the year before. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 168% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, hand stamp imports rose significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, total imports indicated temperate growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +137.6% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 121% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of hand stamp to Chile, with a 69% share of total imports. Moreover, hand stamp imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), sixfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Austria (X units), with a 7.2% share.
