Artificial Fur Market Size in China

In 2022, the Chinese artificial fur market decreased by -5.9% to $X, falling for the third consecutive year after two years of growth. Imports into China

In 2022, imports of artificial fur into China reduced rapidly to X tons, shrinking by -47.9% on the year before. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a deep setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 215% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, artificial fur imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 194%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Vietnam (X tons), Italy (X tons) and South Korea (X tons) were the main suppliers of artificial fur imports to China, with a combined 77% share of total imports.
